Ozcon Industries recognizes the importance of having the right people in the right jobs in order to satisfy customer’s requirements. On average, Ozcon Industries employs over 60 staff members. Where possible, Ozcon Industries employs local people to promote growth and wealth within the community.
Below are the integral people making up our current management team.
KIERAN CHIVERTON
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Kieran founded Ozcon Industries in September 2005 after operating as a sole trader and then partnership since July 2003. Kieran is currently completing industry related qualifications in order to continuously improve his knowledge of the industry. Prior to founding Ozcon, Kieran had experience in the heavy mechanical and agricultural industries. Kieran is very innovative and enjoys undertaking new projects that will satisfy needs within the industry.
RHIANNON CHIVERTON
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Rhiannon operated as a partnership with Kieran in 2004 before returning again full-time in May 2008. Rhiannon has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting with a small business minor and also currently holds a QLD Workplace Health and Safety Officer certification and In-Service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment certification. Rhiannon is currently working on API certification for the company.
DOROTHY GREEN
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dorothy started with Ozcon in July 2007 advancing to CEO shortly afterwards. Dorothy has degrees in Accounting, Business Management and a degree in Farm Management majoring in Equine Science. Having worked in many industries in her career, Dorothy brings a vast wealth of operational and business management knowledge to the management team.
GEOFF ELDRIDGE
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Geoff comes from a very strong trade background and has worked in hard rock mining for 6 of the last 12 years. His vast knowledge in machining and mining practices helps to put customers ideas into action and consistantly improve our products and services. Geoff is originally from Dalby and places a large importance on farming and agriculture while recognising the benifits of the current mining boom to the future of our community.
DAN ROHDE
SALES MANAGER
Dan commenced as Ozcon’s Sales Manager in November 2009. Dan has had over 6 years experience in sales within mining and related industries. This experience enables Dan to be able to talk with customers and together identify a solution for their casing requirements.
SCOTT DAVIDSON
STORES AND LOGISTICS MANAGER
Scott commenced employment with Ozcon in January 2007 and commenced and completed a Boilermaker apprenticeship with Ozcon. Now qualified, Scott moved through the ranks to become Stores Manager in February 2010. Scott has had 12 years experience in the manufacturing industry acting for a number of years in a management role.
ROB TURNER
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Rob, a very experienced Fitter and Turner heads Ozcon’s R&D Department. Rob’s years of experience are a great asset to the company in his role as R&D Manager. Rob started with Ozcon in February 2006 as Production Manager before moving to R&D. Rob has been involved in all major R&D projects initiated by Ozcon since his commencement having had significant input into Ozcon’s Slotter and Perforators.
JASON MANTEIT
MACHINE SHOP MANAGER
Jason, a very qualified Fitter and Turner, commenced employment as Machine Shop Manager with Ozcon in August 2010. Jason has had many years experience in fitting and turning and now supervises all machine shop operations.
KATE ROJEK
OFFICE MANAGER
Kate commenced with Ozcon in September 2010 and brings with her an extensive range of administration experience. Kate worked for many years with the legal profession in Toowoomba and in recent years with the manufacturing and civil constructions industry sectors here in Dalby.
